McCreary car 401 on route 54 to Crumlin Road and rebuilt Red Tram 164 with unspecified route number to Springfield.
From John Knox: "This is definitely the terminus of the Springfield service. The large chimney to the left of the picture is that of a glass factory making jars and bottles etc. I worked for a numbers of years just to the left of that chimney in a factory called James Mackie and Sons textile machinery manufactures who exported machinery all over the world.Just why the distant tram appears to be heading in the city direction but on the wrong side of the road is puzzling."
