No. 4610 was one of the contingent of GWR Collett 5700 class 0-6-0 Pannier tanks that migrated to the Southern in the late 1950's and this example, a former 88C Barry engine, was one that found itself allocated to Dover for Foklestone Harbour branch duties as depicted here as she gingerly crosses the harbour bridge with a Down boat train citca 1959/60. 4610 certainly moved around as moves to Feltham, Weymouth and Exmouth Junction sheds followed and withdrawal came at the last-named shed in October 1964.
