There were no clues supplied with this less than perfect negative of an unidentified Maunsell S15 class 4-6-0 piloting a Drummond T9 'Greyhound 4-4-0 probably taken in 1947. This is not only quite rare example of SR double-heading but note, also, that the rolling styock appears to be entirely of LSWR vintage. The headcode discs suggest that the location is probably west of Salisbury.
