Southern Railway Maunsell Schools class 4-4-0 no. 932 Blundells is in charge of the 12.25 Charing X - Hastings service as it leans to the curve just south of Grove Junction near Tunbridge Wells in 1946.
Blundells remained on the Eastern Section for the rest of its working life and was one of first of the class to be withdrawn in January 1961 whilst allocated to Ashford.
This loco has the unique tender rebuilt with self trimming bunker and high sides in July 1938. It stayed with (30)932 until transferred to 30905 Tonbridge in August 1958.
