A splendid view of a Maunsell 'Woolwich' 'N' class mogul no. 31846 entering Halwill & Beaworthy station with a goods train from Padstow and heading for Exeter Central according to the headcode discs arrangement. No. 31846 was built at the Southern Railway's Ashford in 1924 from a kit of parts supplied by the Woolwich Arsenal and was withdrawn as an Exmouth junction allocated engine in September 1964.
