Wainwright 'H' class 0-4-4T no. 31523 is in 'Push' mode whilst in charge of a Westerham to Dunton Green service in the late 1950's and after the application of the second BR emblem. The precise location is Beggars Lane bridge just outside Westerham. That’s the Westerham fixed distant signal in the picture. This section of the trackbed survives today, although the bridge has gone – Beggars Lane was little more than a farm track back then – and now it is the Westerham bypass!
31523 was a 74D Tonbridge based loco from August 1949 until withdrawal in January 1959.
The p-p stock appears to be of LBSCR origin but the set number isn't visible in this shot.
