Oil fired Adams L11 4-4-0 No. 154 in unlined black livery and a sorry state dumped at Eastleigh at some time between 9/1948 and 3/1951 when it was finally officially withdrawn from service. After VE Day, paraphrased from Bradley's Drummond Locomotive Classes, the government made grant money available for oil burning locomotives but it was inevitable that not all that long after the conversions had been implemented there was an acute shortage of oil.
