LSWR tender engines - MikeMorant

A rather sad and sorry looking engine and also a badly damaged glass negative but I thought that it conveys enough interest to make some effort at digital restoration.
This is LSWR Adams era 4-4-0 no. 310 which was built by Beyer Peacock in December 1880 and belonged to the 135 class. The number 310 confused me at first but a closer reading of Bradley's hardback revealed that no. 310's original running number was 140 and that it was assigned the number of a withdrawn Single Framed Goods 0-6-0 in May 1914. Withdrawal came for 310 in December 1924 amikdst the mass culling of early era LSWR locomotives.
