Drummond M7 0-4-4T no. 328 at the Former LBSCR station at Midhurst LSWR station in 1946. The solitary p-p ex-LBSCR coach - driving brake third SR No. 3846 - tells us something about the volume of traffic that use Midhurst which closed for passengers on February 7th, 1955. No. 328 didn't receive its BR branding until 1950 whilst allocated to Guildford shed. numerous moves around both the Western and Central sections followed until withdrawal came at Tunbridge Wells West mpd in March 1963.
