Double-headed Bulleid pacifics were not a common sight and here we see rebuilt light pacific no. 34077 sans nameplates piloting Merchant Navy no. 35021 New Zealand Line on the final stages of the steep ascent from Weymouth to Bincombe tunnel on an unspecified date in 1965 but before the August when 35021 was withdrawn at Bournemouth mpd. Eastleigh allocated 34077 fared better and remained there until withdrawal in March 1967.
