Bulleid original Battle of Britain pacific no. 34062 17 Squadron.
The sleeve note states that this is nr Ashford on 29/5/57 which doesn't sit well with me because 34062 moved from Stewarts Lane to Nine Elms in March 1950 and then to Exmouth Junction in April 1951 remaining there until withdrawal in July 1964.
The immediately identifiable rolling stock are a Hawksworth coach leading whilst the third coach is a Collett 'special saloon' and as there are no headcode discs displayed I wondered if this is one of those Exmouth Junction route knowledge trips on the South Devon main line which has been confirmed by a viewer on the SEmG Yahoo group's message board who opines that the location is on the westbound climb to Rattery to the east of the A385 bridge over the railway line, looking back in the Totnes direction
