Bulleid light pacific no. 21C131 is in its original Southern Railway unnamed guise at Tonbridge on an unspecified date in 1946 when she was a Ramsgate allocated engine. 21C131 would be named Torrington and form part of what became known as the West Country class. BR numbering as 34031 was applied in January 1949 whilst allocated to Stewarts Lane mpd but moved to the west of England in October 1949 and remained on the Western Section - including her Jarvis rebuilding in December 1958 - until her withdrawal at Eastleigh February 1965.
