The down Golden Arrow in the charge of Bulleid 'Battle of Britain' original light pacific no. 34086 219 Squadron crosses the elegant Eynsford viaduct in February 1960. As one would expect, 34086 was a Stewarts Lane engine at the time but was moved to Exmouth Junction in April 1961 when Kent steam had all but ended. September 1964 saw a move to Eastleigh whence withdrawal came in June 1966.
Note that, by this time, BR Mk 1 stock made up part of the consist and that there isn't actually a Pullman car in this shot.
