Depicted here shunting at Leiston station on 7/10/57 is locomotive-cum-traction engine Sirapite an 0-4-0T built by Aveling Porter in 1906 with works no. 6158 and originally in service with Gypsum Mines who subsequently sold it to Richard Garrett Engineering at Leiston in Suffolk. 1962 saw Sirapite's withdrawal but it is still with us today as a fully restored heritage locomotive
