A line-up of four withdrawn Metropolitan Railway Beyer Peacock built 'A' class 4-4-0T's at Neasden depot on 6/6/1924. From left to right they are nos. 7, 26, 42 and 44. Nos. 26 & 42 would soon be scrapped but no. 7 would be sold to the Mersey Railway and see service there until 1939 whilst no. 44 would be sold to Pelaw main colliery in Co. Durham where it would work until 1948.
