Shame about the motion blur as there is so much of interest in this shot of D20/1 class 4-4-0 no. 2392 with both the splitting distants signal gantry and the rolling stock qualifying as eye candy for NER buffs. A viewer has kindly informed me that 2392 is in charge of an Up train approaching Crimple Junction at Harrogate.
2392 was a Starbeck engine at the time, would be BR branded in November 1948 and moved to Selby in June 1951 where withdrawal took place in May 1954.
