RCTS: Yorkshire Coast Rail Tour 23/6/57
Worsdell J71 class 0-6-0T no. 68246 of 1889 vintage played a small but significant role during this tour being the motive power for a rake of open wagons plus brake van that traversed the short Easingwold Light Railway's metals from Alne and back and easingwold is where this picture was taken. 68246 spent its entire working life based at York and would be withdrawn in November 1958 after 69 years of service.
