MS&LR Parker designed N5/2 0-6-2T no E9283 at Neasden depot on 11/12/49. The 'E' prefix would be replaced with BR '6' in August 1951 whilst still at neasden. This was followed by a final transfer to Retford shed in December 1952 and withdrawal in June 1958.
The web informs me that Parker's N5 class was the first British loco design to make use of a Belpaire firebox.
