Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway - LYR - Hughes designed railmotor 0-4-0T locomotive no. 15 at the rarely depicted Poulton Curve Halt which had opened to traffic in October 1908 and to my surprise survived into BR ownership closing on December 1st, 1952.
Railmotor no. 15 was a Horwich product with works no. 963 that entered L&Y service on March 23rd, 1907, would be renumbered as LMR 10612 after the grouping but would not be a great survivor - one railmotor lasted just into the BR era - being withdrawn on 21/12/34.
