LNWR Webb designed 'Cauliflower' 0-6-0 no. 8430 of 1897 vintage is depicted here just south of Cambridge on February 5th, 1938. This would have been a train bound for Sandy, Bedford and probably right across to Oxford. 8430 would be renumbered into the LNWR's duplicate stock list in 1943 becoming 28430 in the process. Nationalisation would bring a further renumbering to 58378 whilst allocated to Bushbury in February 1949. Withdrawl came at Widnes in June 1953.
