An undated view of LNWR Webb designed 'Jumbo' class2-4-0 no. 5032 The Queen in LMSR livery and photographed at Crewe Works. No. 5032 was built at Crewe and entered service as LNWR no. 1213 in April 1892. Withdrawal was in February 1932. Is it my imagination or is that a Robinson 2-8-0 in the background? A viewer has informed me that the LNWR did, indeed, purchase some of this class after WW1 but I have no further information here on that subject. Is it my imagination or is that a Robinson 2-8-0 in the background?
