LNWR Bowen Cooke designed Prince of Wales 4-6-0 in LMS guise as no. 25672 formerly Condor. Built in January 1916 and entering service as LNWR no. 867, it was renumbered to LMS 5672 in October 1926 and was added to the duplicates list in April 1934. Now numbered 25672, as shown here, it would be withdrawn in December 1936. This engine was an example of the many of this class that was changed from internal Joy valve gear to Outside Walschaerts shortly after the grouping.
