Unmistakably the London end of East Croydon station with a Tunbridge Wells West service entering platform 6, the Oxted line platform, in the charge of Fairburn 4MT 2-6-4T no. 42102 on August 13th, 1951. 42102 was a Brighton product and had entered service in September 1950. She would remain a Southern allocated engine until May 1959 and allocation to Wartford.
