'S' class 4-4-0 no. 173 Galtee More approaching Finaghy Halt.
This location has been the subject of debate going back to my Fotopiuc days which ended in 2011. However, Bob White offers the following: "The signal is Balmoral's down distant, and the train is approaching Finaghy halt , but showing no signs of planning to stop there. Apart from the general appearance of the landscape, between the first and second telegraph poles from the left can be seen the chimney stacks of a hostelry which survives today as the KIng's Head. Just to the right of this and almost totally obscured by the second telegraph pole is the spire of Malone Presbyterian Church, situated at the junction of Balmoral Avenue and the Lisburn Road."
