This is, I think, the only double-header in this gallery and the shot is a pre-war one taken at Kingsbridge, Dublin. The number of the leading engine has been difficult to decipher bu I'm pretty sure that it is 63 taken before its 1939 rebuilding.
There were fifteen members of this delightful D14 class of 4-4-0's attributed to Aspinall and built ny the GSWR at Inchicore works between 1885 and 1895. No. 63 was built in 1891 and was one of the first two of the class to be withdrawn in 1955.
