Pakistan Railways steam locomotive.
A spectacularly backlit shot taken on 11/2/94 featuring the Khyber Pass train crossing one of the 92 bridges between Jamrud and Landi Kotal. The motive power - always steam because diesels are 'too heavy' - is Pakistan railways HGS class 2-8-0 no. 2216 built by Kitson of Leeds in 1916.
