South African industrial steam railways.
Tweefontein United Collieries hauled coal to the South African Railways' exchange yard at Minaar (in the Witbank district, Transvaal) using any combination of available motive power! In 1977, ex-SAR 19A class 4-8-2 No. 678 [Swiss Locomotive Works, Winterthur 3303/1929] (TUC No.6) leads a tender-first S-class 0-8-0 on loan from Dunns Engineering. Designed for heavy shunting, rather than mainline use, this is probably ex-SAR No. 365 [Henschel 21076/1928].
