South African industrial steam railways
Vryheid Coronation Colliery near Hlobane (northern KwaZulu/Natal) operated a line in the same area as the Enyati Railway and also used the South African Ralways' exchange yard at Boomlager, through which inter-connection was possible. Standard North British Locomotive Company 4-8-4T No. 1 (originally No.4) had been supplied new to the mine [under NBL Hyde Park works number 27099/1951] and is seen shunting the shed yard in 1975/6.
